Our 6-puck sprung disc offers a really great engagement when using a OE clutch cover combined. Our 6-puck, spring-centered race disc features a spring-center construction to properly damp torsional vibrations and resist failure under harsh conditions. ACP spring retainers utilize wrap around spring windows and thicker retainer stampings to provide spring support, reduce stress concentrations, and increase strength and reliability. With the 6-puck, spring-centered race disc engagement is really grippy, and the shifting is fast. The 6-puck, spring-centered disc is recommended for any car application. The disc can absorb three times more amount of heat then a regular OEM disc. Also, proven to last twice as long as an OEM disc due to the great amount of heat it can absorb. 500 mile break-in is mandatory to receive the best results.
Miba Buttons
Miba buttons are produced using a patented “sprinkling technique”, and compacted powder metallurgy. Metal powder is first sprinkled and compacted directly on the steel backing plate using precision tools and high pressure. This procedure helps to assure a 100% sintered bond. The sintering is then carried out in furnaces at temperatures up to 2400°F degrees. The powders fuse together (sinter) into a solid material, matching the desired load. A final “coining” operation, which includes color-coding and testing, ensures exact material density, thickness consistency, and precise centering on the backing plate. Unlike other manufacturers that rely on large amounts of low-cost iron as a “filler” material, Miba relies on a bronze-based material while adding only small amounts of iron to act as a hardening agent. Buttons that use a higher content of bronze, versus iron, are more expensive to produce. However, higher levels of wear resulting from the use of iron buttons prematurely destroys cores and cost substantially more in the long run, resulting in the need to purchase replacement plates and carriers more often.

Returns
All returns must be first authorized by GRIP Clutch. Customer is responsible for all return shipping expenses to us. Returns will not be accepted if the parts are contaminated with any Oil or Grease. Returns will not be accepted if the parts have been installed. No returns accepted after 14 days. All returns will be subject to 20% restocking fee. Return your purchase for up to 14 days from date of purchase for a refund, including original shipping cost minus 20% restocking fee. Must be in original packaging and brand new. Item will be checked within 5 business days, refund will be given after that. Items that have been used, installed, damaged, or altered are non-returnable.

Damage Claims
Any damaged merchandise received must file a claim with the carrier and not with GRIP Clutch.
Shortages
Any shortages in a shipment must be reported to the carrier upon the time of arrival.
Warranty
Warranty is offered if the parts are defective. No warranty will be given if the parts are contaminated with any type of Grease or Oil or any lubricant. Warranty will not be given if the parts have been installed. Warranty will not be offered if break-in period was not done. The consumer will be responsible for the removal and freight costs both to the supplier from which the product was originally purchased. Proof of purchase is mandatory in order to receive warranted replacement.
Clutch Break-in Period
All PUCK CLUTCH DISC(S) need at least 500 miles for break-in. All KEVLAR DISC(S) need at least 1000 miles for break-in. All FULL FACE ORGANIC DISC(S) need at least 200 miles for break-in. If failed to do break in period we will not offer warranty.

Specifically, Chevrolet, Buick, Cadillac and GMC dealers will be unable to deliver tens of thousands of large SUVs and crossovers, a segment that has seen a lot of demand in recent months because of unavailable parts for recalled cars, Automotive News reports. When it comes to large crossovers, the recall of 1.3 million examples of the GMC Acadia, Buick Enclave, and Chevrolet Traverse vehicles from the 2009-2014 model years is likely to hit dealers hard.
