Nissan is 80 years old in 2014, and as part of its birthday celebrations the Japanese firm has unveiled a brand-new Sport Sedan Concept at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit. 'Sedan' is the American term for a saloon car – and as the rest of its name suggests, Nissan is aiming to make this four-door far sportier than your average executive express. Audi has revealed the Audi Q5 Custom Concept at The Wörthersee Tour in Austria So why, you may ask, has Audi gone all ‘Pimp My Ride’ on us with the otherwise sensible Q5? The answer is simple – The Wörthersee Tour. The Wörthersee Tour is an annual gathering of VW and Audi fans in Wörthersee, Austria, where GTI tuners and modders gather to show and seek the best in customising for their beloved Audis and Volkswagens.

College Exhibition: Umea Institute of Design Degree Show 2007

Masters students at Umea University Institute of Design exhibited their final projects in at their annual Degree Exhibition in early June. This year, a record 45 students exhibited their work, including 13 from MA Transportation Design, 8 from MA Advanced Product Design, 10 from MA Interaction Design and a further 14 from the BA Industrial Design course. This year's MA Transportation Design programme was led by Lasse Pettersson, with Nick Coughlan as external tutor.
