There but for the grace of God go I and all that… But the shrieking and hysteria over the Petersen Museum in Los Angeles going to hell in a handbasket -- that's what the LA Times reported -- is over the top, and it's turned into a fiasco. 60 years of Unimog spawns off-roader concept

Mercedes-Benz is paying tribute to 60 years of Unimog trucks with a mean, green off-roader concept that the company claims stands for future versatility in vehicle design. In a nod to the first Mercedes Unimog--built in 1951 and reinstated with the 2010 product range--the team of Mercedes and Daimler designers gave the 2011 design concept an open cab. They injected the U 5000's off-road capabilities into the equation as well, drawing on the truck's historic design strengths.

The public debut of the new Bentley Continental GT speed saw Bentley’s fastest car hit the Goodwood hillclimb. We’ve just had a reveal of the new Bentley Continental GT Speed – the fastest Bentley in production – and as we predicted Bentley have taken the new GT Speed to Goodwood this weekend. And there’s not a lot of point, when your new car is the fastest you make, having a pretty, static display.
