Ferrari 458 Spider will debut at Frankfurt 2011 The Ferrari 458 Italia is perhaps the best car FerrariĀ hasĀ ever made. And Ferrari are going to make sure they make the most of the 458′s status as the best supercar in its class by introducing the Ferrari 458 Spider at next month’s Frankfurt Motor Show. The big news for the 458 Spider is that it’s going to get a folding hardtop instead of the canvas roof the 430 Spider got.

You will not find too many detractors when it comes to the Swift, particularly in its Sport guise, but its clean-living brother was one of the two highlights on the Suzuki stand. The rather convolutedly-named Range Extender was actually first shown at Geneva in 2010, but has since undergone further development. More interesting is the G70.

R-S will extend across the Jaguar range It’s been a while since we played the speculation game with Jaguar, so it’s due. The last punt we had after a tip-off – apart from the XF 2.2 diesel Jaguar denied when we ran the story – was that Jaguar were planning on building an XJ Supersport Diesel. But long before that we heard that, there were rumblings of a more powerful petrol XJ Supersport too, an XJR, perhaps, or maybe an XJR-S or XJ Supersport S.
