Product Description:
The AEM Tru-Time Adjustable Cam Gear is proven to increase horsepower and torque without replacing your original camshaft . The AEM cam gear allows you to fine tune your engine's cam timing to match the current tuning state of your vehicle.
Laser-etched markings on the outer edge of the gear allow for quick and accurate adjustments to your engine's timing. Your engine's timing can be advanced or retarded up to 10 degrees each way. These adjustments can be made in one-degree increments via the laser-etched markings.
The precision cut gear teeth ensure no premature wearing of the timing belt surface, while the hard anodizing on belt surface was lab tested as the most durable anodizing on the market. The precision cut gear teeth are also guaranteed to match the Original Equipment (O.E.) drive tooth profile.
This high quality cam gear is made from durable and lightweight 6061-T6 billet aluminum, which has been anodized in blue to enhance the appearance and performance of your engine.
Therefore, it can be installed on an OEM Camshaft, Aftermarket Camshaft or Reground Camshaft.
