Infiniti Emerg-e on the move at Goodwood FoS

Thu, 14 Jun 2012

The Infiniti Emerg-e range-extender supercar will be at the Goodwood Festival of Speed this month and tackle the hillclimb. We’re still not sure that Infiniti really know where they’re heading in the UK and Europe, but perhaps recent changes at Infiniti PR will help make things clearer? The Coppa d’Oro, for best in show as voted by the public, went to a 1942 Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 SS. The Aston Martin V12 Zagato, created to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the famous DB4 GT Zagato, won a design award for Best Concept Car or Prototype.

Alfa Romeo going to the USA

Fri, 26 Jun 2009

Alfa Romeo is going back to the US for the first time in almost 20 years We already know that the only Fiat making its way to the US is the Fiat 500, but it now looks as if a big chunk of the Alfa Romeo range will make the journey too. Sergio Marchionne, Fiat’s boss and the new head of Chrysler, has been working on rationalising Chrysler’s management and working out the best way forward. As mentioned, only the Fiat 500 will be offered for sale in America (and probably built in Mexico), with Fiat platforms being used to build new Chryslers that will be designed and built in the States.
