FUNCTION

AEM's 0-1800F EGT Gauge unites unsurpassed accuracy, speed and control with an easy to read, analog interface. The AEM analog gauge also offer a 0-5v analog output for use with data loggers and virtually any engine management system, such as the AEM EMS or FIC.

                                                                                                                                                          WHY YOU WANT ONE

The 1800F EGT Gauge is a must for anyone with a turbocharged engine, diesel or gas. A great way to monitor your turbos performance is by using EGT, but while everything else in the engine is fine, EGTs can be climbing to dangerous levels without another clue from boost or AFR. The 320 degrees of resolution makes it easy to see when there's even a 50 degree rise in EGT, giving you time to shut things down before damage occurs. The lightning fast needle movement is a result of a precision high speed electronic stepper motor making it one of the fastest and most accurate gauges available. A K-Type Thermocouple sensor gives the gauge its accuracy. The backlighting is user adjustable to 7 colors, allowing users to easily match the EGT gauge to most factory gauge clusters. Each gauge comes with interchangeable black & silver bezels and black and white gauge faceplates for multiple color combinations.

Audi A3 2.0 TDI gets greener

Sat, 21 Nov 2009

The Audi A3 2.0 TDI gets a 'Green' makeover If you read here regularly you’ll be only too well aware that every week we report on cars that have cleaned up their act, got more economical and are emitting less CO2. Less cynical souls than us may reasonably conclude that this is because car makers want to ‘save the planet’. But of course, it’s nothing of the sort.

Citroën C4 Picasso

Tue, 02 Apr 2013

The all-new Citroën C4 Picasso will come as no surprise to anyone who saw the Thechnospace concept at last month's Geneva motor show as it's essentially identical, bar some color and trim details. This five-seat, C-segment MPV/minivan is shorter than the car it replaces by 40mm at 4,430mm, meaning it's closer to the old Xsara Picasso in size. It is a little wider than the old C4 at 1,830mm and its wheelbase spans an extra 55mm at 2,785mm, which Citroën says means it boast more interior and luggage space than before.

Concept Car of the Week: Bertone Alfa Romeo Carabo

Fri, 12 Jul 2013

It might sound unbelievable today, but despite its racing pedigree and a voluptuous body designed by Franco Scaglione, Alfa Romeo was struggling to sell the outstanding 33 Stradale. Its heavy price tag was far above that of a Lamborghini Miura and also 120hp less powerful. By 1969, production was discontinued and only 18 examples had been made.
