AEM's Series 2 EMS is a complete engine control system that plugs into the factory harness and uses the factory sensors. This means you do not need to replace any parts of the harness or sensors, just plug the EMS into the harness and begin tuning! The Series 2 EMS allows you to control every aspect of your engine. From VTEC to rev limit, timing, adding different sized injectors, boost control, nitrous injection, even anti-lag and individual cylinder fuel and timing trims, the Series 2 EMS gives you total control from an easy to use interface.

Legal in California only for racing vehicles which may never be used upon a highway.

And CAR’s editor Phil McNamara has been to Paris early, for an audience with Renault’s design director Laurens van den Acker, and to see the stunning Dezir in the metal. It’s the first of six concept cars from Renault, before we see the new van den Acker-led design language appear on the Clio 4 in 18 months time.

DeLorean DMC-12 electric prototype debuts

The DeLorean DMC-12, one of the world's most iconic cars, is making waves again, re-emerging as an all-electric vehicle. The DeLorean Motor Company, now based in Texas, rolled out the proof-of-concept version of the eDeLorean to customers at its biannual DMC headquarters gathering in Houston over the weekend. “I wanted my customers to see it first,” DMC owner Steven Wynne told Autoweek.

Qualifying for the 2012 British Grand Prix was a shambles with more rain than the average July sees all month. But through it all there were some great drives, not least of which was Alonso putting his Ferrari on pole, Webber taking second in his adopted home Grand Prix and the King of the rain – Michael Schumacher – in third.
