| The new ATLAS exhaust is engineered to perform in the most extreme environments. This system is constructed from precision, mandrel bent 4” aluminized steel tubing for maximum flow, increased horsepower, increased torque and lower EGT’s. The 2-piece tailpipe and bayonet style hangers provide a hassle-free installation. To provide a leak-free seal, OE style band clamps are used that offer a 360º sealing area vs. cheap U-bolt clamps used in other systems. A 12" free-flowing straight-through designed muffler is used to produce a deep, powerful sound. Systems are available in 4” turbo back or 4” down pipe back with or without muffler. The Blue Oval announced the widely anticipated sale to the US stock markets and employees this morning, confirming it was paid $2.3 billion (£1.2bn) for the two premium British marques. It has sold them wholesale, rather than keeping a stake as it did with Aston Martin - ending a decade of American ownership.Ford bought Land Rover from the BMW-Rover break-up in 2000, 11 years after it acquired Jaguar.
Sustrans backs City's 20mph plan
Mon, 16 Sep 2013THE CHARITY Sustrans, which encourages people to travel by foot, bike or public transport, has welcomed plans to cut speed limits within the City of London to 20mph. The City of London's Court of Common Council approved the plan to reduce the speed limit to 20mph in the City as part of its Road Danger Reduction Plan. It is argued that the plan will reduce casualties by almost 10% while adding only a minute to journey times.
