aFe Control has released their Lowering Springs for the 2012-2015 BMW 228i (F20) or 328i (F30) with the 2.0L (t) N20/N26 engine. These springs are Made in the USA and are engineered to optimize the factory shock absorber damping and offer a 1" drop for the perfect blend of performance and style. The lowering springs will increase cornering and handling performance giving you the confidence to take that turn without adversely affecting ride quality. The lowered stance will transform the way your BMW looks as well as offer improved aerodynamics. Designed as a direct fit application these springs require no modifications to the vehicle.

With the MINI Coupe hitting the roads just about now, next in line for MINI is the MINI Roadster, with the soft-top, two-seat MINI due to hit UK showrooms in the Spring. As a prelude to that, MINI got up early this Sunday morning to send us over 200 photos of the Roadster, together with specs of the Roadster models and the UK prices. Ferrari's latest video in its ‘Discover the technology of Formula 1' YouTube series sees Scuderia Ferrari's deputy design chief Simone Resta focusing on the chassis and side pods' design and its effect on the aerodynamics. This video follows two episodes, the first of which introduced viewers to the concept of aerodynamics – which is the subject of the series' first part – while the second took a look at the design and effect of the car's front wing and nose. The great thing about this series is you don't have to be a genius – or even know your way around an F1 car – to get to grips with the concepts or terminology.
