Air Intake System This air intake system produces 11 max horsepower, 27lbs. x ft. torque and out-flowed the factory intake by 51%. Fully enclosed in a heat-shielding molded plastic housing; this air intake system features a washable/reusable conical air filter. The housing features auxiliary inlet duct for better airflow as well as an attractive brushed aluminum cover that provides ready access to the filter for servicing. This intake system also features a heat-insulating molded plastic tube that replaces the stock intake tract and directs increased air flow with improved volumetric efficiency for maximum performance. The filter is constructed with 100% polyurethane for long life and multiple cleaning cycles. This Value Pack include a Pro-DryS spare intake filter, a pre-filter and air filter restore kit. This intake is 50-state legal (CARB E.O Number D-550-4). |

Thu, 03 Jul 2014The Jaguar F-Type Project 7 joins the first D-Type at Le Mans this weekend The Jaguar F-Type Project 7 got its reveal at the Goodwood Festival of Speed last weekend as a D-Type inspired, short-run F-Type with 567 bhp and 502lb/ft of torque. It was joined by Land Rover’s first Special Operations car – albeit a prototype version with red and black swirly camouflage – the Range Rover Sport SVR, which gleefully took to the hillclimb to demonstrate the incongruity of a big SUV acting like a hot hatch and sounding like a muscle car on steroids. But what was a little odd is that the RRS SVR happily strutted its stuff, even though it’s only a prototype, but the F-Type Project 7 didn’t turn a wheel in anger.

The changes amounted to the new SEAT nose with a new grill and headlights and a crease up the bonnet, a set of bigger air intakes, a new bumper and lights at the back and a very small titivate for the interior. Now those modest updates have been applied to the 2013 SEAT Ibiza Cupra – as previewed by the Ibiza Cupra Concept at this year’s Beijing Motor Show – as well as a set of LED running lights, a set of butch bumpers and a big hexagonal exhaust tip at the back.

Fri, 23 Dec 2011Former BMW designer Chris Chapman has been appointed as Hyundai's Chief Designer, based at its design center in Irvine, California. He will be responsible for both advanced and production design for the Korean brand and replaces Phil Zak, who left the company early in 2011 to return to GM. He will report to SukGeun Oh, Head of Design, Senior Executive Vice President Hyundai Design Center.
