The Gorilla Locking Rod Holder deters theft of rods and reels.

Once the rod-and-reel combos are placed in the holder, a steel bar can be slid across them to lock them in place with any ordinary padlock, not provided with the holder.

The locked bar prevents both the rod from being removed and the reel from being detached.

The holder can be left in the unlocked position for easy access when fishing or running.

The holders can be mounted vertically on transoms, consoles or a cabin wall, or they can be mounted horizontally under a T-top or a cabin ceiling. Of course, they can also be mounted on a vehicle, in a garage, on a dock box or any such place.

Dodge Viper SRT10 ACR (2007): first official pictures

Fri, 09 Nov 2007

By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 09 November 2007 01:13 Dodge Viper SRT10 ACR: the lowdown As if the regular Dodge Viper, sorry, SRT10, wasn't hard enough, the Street and Racing Technology division at the Chrysler group's Detroit HQ have dreamed up a hardcore street-legal racing version. It's not for the faint-hearted, as you can tell from the angry body addenda and huge spoilers mounted on the already monstrous coupe. The ACR bit of the name denotes it's an American Club Racer spec car - it's the first use of the badge on a Viper since 1999.

Audi S1 at Paris

Sat, 11 Sep 2010

The Audi S1 will have a Paris Launch (A1 Wörthersee Concept pictured) It’s getting on for a year since we reported that – despite some saying it wouldn’t happen – Audi were planning at least a warm version of the A1 and had on the drawing board the Audi S1 to take on the MINI Cooper. So it’s not a shock that we hear Audi are planning on bring the S1 along to Paris for a reveal before getting the S1 on the roads by the second quarter of 2011. Expect the usual Audi S bits in the mix  - bigger wheels, fettled suspension, beefed-up brakes, body kit – and power in the S1 to come from the S/C turbo 1.4 TSI found in the VW Polo GTI, although the S1 may just get a tweaked version of the engine as befits its higher standing in the VW hierarchy with a bit more than the 178 horses the Polo GTI manages.
