USED aftermarket (Prestige Pursuit) APS2K4SAW keyless entry auto-start remote transmitter fob, FCC ID: ELVAT0C (ELVATOC). I purchased this remote used and have no information regarding its history. The remote was tested using a wireless RF remote tester. Signal was detected for all buttons. This is in no way a guarantee (or even a claim) that the remote functions properly. It simply means that my wireless RF remote tester detected signal from the remote when the buttons were pressed. The back of the case/shell is cracked and the screw for the case/shell is missing, as shown in the photo. The remote is being sold AS IS. This means that by either bidding on this listing or purchasing it using the Buy It Now function, you certify that you are aware you are buying a USED remote, that the purchase of used goods with unknown histories comes with the risk that they may or may not function properly, that you are prepared to take this risk, and that you are aware that I offer no warranties, no returns/exchanges, and no refunds. Furthermore, I deal in many different brands and models of used remotes/fobs. As such, I am not able to provide compatibility or programming information. It is the buyer's responsibility to confirm that this remote is compatible with their vehicle and that they have access to the necessary programming instructions prior to bidding on - or buying - the listing. Compatibility confirmation and programming instructions can usually be obtained by contacting the manufacturer or an authorized dealer of your vehicle, and/or sometimes by consulting information online by performing a search.

I ship within 1-2 business days after buyer's payment posts (I try my best to stay within 1 business day), at no charge via USPS First Class Mail to the continental U.S. only. For those outside the continental U.S., I participate in eBay's Global Shipping Program. If you live outside the continental U.S. and within one of the regions included in the Global Shipping Program, and you are quoted a shipping price by eBay when you attempt to bid on - or buy - any of the items I have listed, be advised that the quoted shipping price is being charged by eBay to ship from the Global Shipping Program hub to your location. None of that shipping fee goes to me. Please do not contact me in an attempt to negotiate a shipping price quoted by eBay's Global Shipping Program. I have no control over the amount.

Video: Fiat creates café racer 500 for SEMA

Tue, 30 Oct 2012

Fiat is preparing a café racer-style 500 for this week's SEMA show by stripping down an Abarth version to take it "down to the essence of what you need to drive a car." The café racer philosophy of ‘more speed, less comfort' was born around the 1960s British 'biker scene and while initially focussed on increasing performance, quickly developed into a culture as concered with 'the show' as 'the go'. "It takes something like this to really get noticed at SEMA," says Craig Buoncompago, Project Manager at Fiat Product Design. "The Café Racer is really going to be one special car that you guys should really come and see." The 500's roof has been chopped, while also shorn of its door handles and being fitted with hot rod billet rims.

Vauxhall Ampera Hybrid – No range anxiety

Tue, 15 Jun 2010

The Vauxhall Ampera goes on a 350 mile run We’ve been moaning quite a bit about the claims being made by car makers for their electric cars. We understand that a big drawback for buyers is ‘Range Anxiety’, a completely understandable concern when you can’t exactly pull over and top up your electric. So we asked Secretary of State Philip Hammond to look at legislation on range claims by electric car makers so buyers can make a judgement on the facts, not the fiction.
