USED aftermarket (NuStart) NU1BAMR keyless auto-start remote transmitter fob, FCC ID: VA5JR760AM433, IC: 7087A-R760AM. I purchased this remote used and have no information regarding its history. The remote was tested using a wireless RF remote tester. Signal was detected and the blue indicator light illuminated when the button was pressed. This is in no way a guarantee (or even a claim) that the remote functions properly. It simply means that my wireless RF remote tester detected signal from the remote when the button was pressed. The remote is being sold AS IS. This means that by either bidding on this listing or purchasing it using the Buy It Now function, you certify that you are aware you are buying a USED remote, that the purchase of used goods with unknown histories comes with the risk that they may or may not function properly, that you are prepared to take this risk, and that you are aware that I offer no warranties, no returns/exchanges, and no refunds. Furthermore, I deal in many different brands and models of used remotes/fobs. As such, I am not able to provide compatibility or programming information. It is the buyer's responsibility to confirm that this remote is compatible with their vehicle and that they have access to the necessary programming instructions prior to bidding on - or buying - the listing. Compatibility confirmation and programming instructions can usually be obtained by contacting the manufacturer or an authorized dealer of your vehicle, and/or sometimes by consulting information online by performing a search.

I ship within 1-2 business days after buyer's payment posts (I try my best to stay within 1 business day), at no charge via USPS First Class Mail to the continental U.S. only. For those outside the continental U.S., I participate in eBay's Global Shipping Program. If you live outside the continental U.S. and within one of the regions included in the Global Shipping Program, and you are quoted a shipping price by eBay when you attempt to bid on - or buy - any of the items I have listed, be advised that the quoted shipping price is being charged by eBay to ship from the Global Shipping Program hub to your location. None of that shipping fee goes to me. Please do not contact me in an attempt to negotiate a shipping price quoted by eBay's Global Shipping Program. I have no control over the amount.

‘GEN Y 2012 – Express Yourself’ contest launched

Thu, 23 Feb 2012

Liberty Electric Cars has launched a competition for design students calling for ideas for a revolutionary ‘Car of the Year' 2020. The company, which specializes in electric vehicle (EV) drivetrain technologies for multiple vehicle platforms, has asked for students to create a revolutionary electric vehicle for its ‘GEN Y 2012 – Express Yourself' contest. The design must be targeted for Generation Y (between 18 and 29 years old), with the brief stating that the vehicle "should be iconic in shape and allow the user to express their own personality." The vehicle should also "become a fashion item, fun to drive and should use innovative technologies and materials that can be easily configured according to the driver's requirements." The contest is open for students enrolled in a college or university-level design program, either in transportation, product or fashion design, engineering or architecture.

UK has more EV charging points than electric cars

Sun, 15 Jan 2012

The UK has more charging points than EVs Department for Transport figures say that there are now more charging points in the UK for electric cars than there are EVs. Yes, we have little time for electric cars as anything more than urban runarounds for those with enough spare cash to pay through the nose for inferior technology. And it’s becoming clear that the great British car buying public feel much the same.

General Motors Europe opens new Design Center

Fri, 12 May 2006

Being a car designer is often percieved as a glamourous occupation, but few people realise that this typically means working in some of the least inspiring places. Wolfsburg, Detroit and Birmingham are just a few of the locations that are home to some of the largest populations of car designers around the world. GM Europe's location in Russelsheim, Germany is also one of the less glamourous locations but the new design center building opened this week aims to redress the otherwise rather industrial feel of the place where tomorrow's Opels and Saabs are created.
