Hartmut Warkuss to receive 2014 EyesOn Design Catalyst Award
Mon, 06 Jan 2014Hartmut Warkuss, former head of Volkswagen Design, will be awarded the 2014 Catalyst Award by EyesOn Design at next week's North American International Auto Show (NAIAS). Warkuss, who is credited with overseeing the design of the Bugatti Veyron, the VW Concept (new Beetle) and the Audi TT Concept, will be presented with the award by Peter Schreyer, Hyundai's president and chief design officer and the 2014 recipient of the EyesOn Design Lifetime Design Achievement Award. Mon, 12 May 2014THE CAPITAL CITY of the UK is home to the country’s angriest drivers, with 63% of those who drive in London admitting that getting behind the wheel of a car made them aggressive and angry. The most common reasons for drivers’ bad moods in London are traffic jams (45%), cyclists and pedestrians (34%) and waiting at traffic lights and junctions (33%). Lorries and delivery drivers also accounted for 26% and bad manners from other drivers ranked with 24%.
