Fiat 500L: Now it’s the ‘Fatherhood’ video
Fri, 15 Mar 2013Fiat has followed up their viral ‘Motherhood’ video for the new 500L with a new version to balance the gender bias – ‘Fatherhood’. That was because Fiat managed to tap in to the woes of parenthood (or, more precisely, motherhood) with a bit of a hip-hop ditty by a vexed young mother, bemoaning the changes motherhood has wrought on her life. Mini auctions Kiss Countryman cars to fund global relief efforts
Tue, 31 May 2011If Dad's Gene Simmons poster is starting to lose its luster, you should probably sign on to eBay to try to win him a custom-painted Mini forever emblazoned with that tongue. Mini and the rock bank Kiss partnered to auction four Countrymans (Countrymen?) that are custom-painted with the iconic likeness of each band member, in a 10-day Father's Day charity auction that started on May 29. Kiss band members joined Mini at the New York auto show in April to unveil the four vehicles now up for auction.
Guggenheim to auction BMW M1 art car
Fri, 13 May 2011The Guggenheim Museum in New York is selling an original BMW M1 art car to raise funds and to make way for other exhibits. Frank Stella painted the Bavarian supercar in 1979, and it has been part of the Guggenheim collection since 1999. BMW has commissioned many art cars since the program launched in 1975, including another M1 by Andy Warhol and a 3.0 CSL also by Stella.
