Small groups of people began gathering with their cars outside diners and soda shops to form the clubs that symbolized the birth of American car culture. In 1948, a group called The Cavaliers was born just outside Poly High School in Southern California.

Honda CR-Z – production ready at Detroit

Honda has revealed the production-ready CR-Z at the Detroit Motor Show Honda are very keen to catch up with Toyota in the hybrid car wars. The Honda Insight was their answer to the Prius (although better looking it was even more woeful to drive than the Prius) and Honda are now looking to move in to the ‘Sporty’ Hybrid market with the Honda CR-Z. Honda revealed the CR-Z back in October at the Tokyo Motor Show, and did the usual new model think of labeling it as a concept.

Jaguar teases arrival of new XJ sedan

With the launch date of the redesigned XJ sedan drawing closer, Jaguar is starting to prime the pump by releasing an overhead view of the new car. The teaser shot gives us a look at the car's glass panoramic roof. The new XJ, which we expect to get a clear look at late this summer, uses a reengineered version of the current XJ's aluminum chassis.
