Once you buy these kits you won't have to keep buying those expensive Volvo filters time after time. Just pop in a couple of new Fram (or equivalent) elements and you're good to go. These air-filter kits are an easy, bolt-on replacement for the original Volvo filters,( B18, & B20 with SU HS6 carbs.) They are designed to use a readily available and economical FRAM (or equivalent) filter, available at any auto-parts store, or on-line, for $5 to $10 each. Besides FRAM, (which are included with the kits) there are several cross-over brands available. Made of aluminum with stainless-steel hardware. Installation is quick & easy using your existing mounting bolts, (in most cases). Instructions included. The kits listed here are the 3 bolt style, (and about 3 inches thick) and DO have the fitting on the back for the rubber hose. Includes mounting gaskets, and a list of cross-over filters, for future reference. Please see my other listing if you need the 2 bolt style, without the hose fitting. 'Gran Turismo 6' coming for PS3 this holiday season
Fri, 17 May 2013When the sixth installment of "Gran Turismo" hits store shelves this holiday season for the PlayStation 3, it will include 1,200 cars, 33 tracks in 71 layouts, a new track editor with 10 square kilometers of scenery, and more ways to connect with friends and rivals. The new installment will add to the franchise's current sales of 70 million copies, continuing its run as one of the biggest sellers on the PlayStation family of consoles. Polyphony Digital, Sony and 10 manufacturers brought journalists out to the Silverstone Circuit in England for some hands-on time with a prototype copy of the new game.

Earlier this month we had a video from Porsche of the Panamera Sport Turismo on the move with comments and insights on the design process, and now we get a more detailed look at the development and thinking behind the transition from ugly duckling Panamera to stunningly good looking Panamera Sport Turismo. Porsche don’t want to call the Sport Turismo a Station Wagon, but that is effectively what the Sport Turismo is (and it can’t be a true Shooting Brake with four doors).

Mon, 21 Jul 201475% of BMW 2 Series Active Tourer buyers will be new to BMW The new BMW 2 Series Active Tourer – BMW’s front wheel drive small family mover – went on sale in the UK in May and looks set to take on the Mercedes B Class and bring new buyers to the BMW brand. BMW say they are expecting around three quarters of all buyers of the new 2 Series Active Tourer will be new to the brand, which is a big opportunity for BMW. BMW purists may bemoan the front wheel drive setup as a betrayal of all BMW stands for (although you will be able to get xDrive 4WD versions), but for BMW it’s a very pragmatic way to go.
