Once you buy these kits you won't have to keep buying those expensive Volvo filters time after time. Just pop in a couple of  new Fram  (or equivalent) elements and you're good to go. These air-filter kits are an easy, bolt-on replacement for the original Volvo filters,( B18, & B20 with SU HS6 carbs.) They are designed to use a readily available and economical FRAM (or equivalent) filter, available at any auto-parts store, or on-line, for $5 to $10 each. Besides FRAM, (which are included with the kits) there are several cross-over brands available.

Made of aluminum with stainless-steel hardware. Installation is quick & easy using your existing mounting bolts,  (in most cases). Instructions included.

The kits listed here are the 3 bolt style, (and about 3 inches thick) and DO have the fitting on the back for the rubber hose. Includes mounting gaskets, and a list of cross-over filters, for future reference. Please see my other listing if you need the 2 bolt style, without the hose fitting.

These are the 2 most common styles of Volvo filters. If you need something different, send me an email, I may be able to help.

I usually ship via parcel-post. NO sales outside of USA.

PayPal preferred, please email any questions.

Toyota Yaris Hybrid-R concept (2013) at Frankfurt motor show

Tue, 27 Aug 2013

Toyota has released fresh information regarding its 414bhp supermini concept ahead of its debut at next month’s Frankfurt motor show. The Yaris Hybrid R drivetrain features Toyota Motorsport’s 1.6-litre racing petrol engine to power the front wheels and twin electric motors generating 60bhp apiece to run those at the back, giving the car all-wheel drive and a combined output of up to 414bhp. The car also makes use of a supercapacitor inspired by Toyota’s TS030 Hybrid Le Mans racer – energy generated under heavy braking is stored and can be quickly deployed to the rear wheels for an extra burst of power.

Tue, 01 May 2012

The replacement for the Aston Martin DBS (right) will look much like the One-77 (left) at the back The revised Aston Martin DBS – due to arrive later in 2012 – will take many styling cues from the One-77 and get a new name. Aston Martin are busy working on an updated DBS (which is why we’re about to get the DBS Ultimate Edition) and are aiming for a reveal by the Paris Motor Show in September. But this isn’t going to be just a facelift for the DBS.
