Air Lift Air Compressor Kit W/ Gauge & Control / #25804 / Air Bags Or Air Shocks on 2040-parts.com
Hornbrook, California, US
This is an Air Lift compressor & Gauge/Controller kit # 25804 that was used for a very short time. [It was used for a custom air bag installation on my 2013 Dodge 1500 - I installed air bags and routed the air lines to the interior and mounted the compressor & controller under the rear seat. I only removed it, after 1 month use, because I decided to trade the truck in for a 3/4 ton.] This kit was originally marketed as a kit for air shocks, but I found that it worked well for air bags also.
This auction includes the compressor, the gauge panel with control switch, a large quantity of electrical wire, approx. 15 feet of 1/4 air hose, one push fit "T" coupler, and one "one way" air control valve. Also included will be the original instruction pages etc. as well as the pictured air fittings. All you will need are a couple of push fit air couplings to customize your specific installation (a couple of bucks each). When new, the complete kit retails for over $160 and can be found on E-Bay for $120 to $160. You can have everything you need with this gently used set-up for much less....
* I used the "one way" air valve (and am including it in this auction) because I found that these on board air compressors pump air very well, but eventually the air pressure you set very gradually leaks down a pound or two (over a weeks time period) because the small compressor wasn't designed to "hold" the air pressure. By installing the "one way" valve in the air line right next to the compressor, the air pressure never leaks down and remains constant.
Please ask any questions you may have and I will answer ASAP.
