BMW Zagato Coupe revealed at Villa D’Este
Fri, 25 May 2012BMW Zagato Coupe The BMW Zagato Coupe – a one-off concept BMW designed by Zagato – has been revealed at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este. Whilst we’re busy keeping a watchful eye out for the arrival of the new Aston Martin DBS at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este this weekend, up pops a one-off concept from event sponsors BMW – the BMW Zagato Coupe. BMW 3 Series GT revealed
Thu, 07 Feb 2013The BMW 3 Series Grand Turismo – the third model in the BMW 3 Series range – has been revealed ahead of a public debut at the Chicago and Geneva Motor Shows. Now, BMW has revealed a little brother for the not exactly super successful 5 Series Grand Turismo, in the guise of the new BMW 3 Series GT, a slightly ungainly looking 3 Series that’s almost as big as a 5 Series and will cost around £3,000 more than the 3 Series saloon. Stretched by 110mm in the wheelbase from the 3 Series Touring – and a full 200mm longer – the 3 Series GT will, say BMW, offer the dynamics of the saloon with the practicality of the Touring.
GM contacting Chevrolet Volt owners as NHTSA investigates battery fire
Mon, 28 Nov 2011General Motors on Monday said it is contacting all owners of the Chevrolet Volt plug-in hybrid to reassure them that the car is safe as the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration investigates a battery fire from a Volt that was crash-tested. GM said any Volt owner who had safety concerns would be offered a different GM car as a loaner vehicle. Executives also stressed during a teleconference that the battery issues were seen only in vehicles in the crash tests.
