This auction is for one aluminum airbox adapter plate used to convert an 06-09 CRF250R to accept a CR500 engine. This is not an auction for the airbox, but just for the adapter plate. This plate is made of 1/8" thick 5052 aluminum. It is cut out on a CNC water jet then de-burred in a media tumbler. It comes with all the holes pre-drilled and ready to assemble with your airbox. This is made to be use with an airboot from a 1998-1999 CR250.

Lotus owner Proton tries to quell sale rumours
Wed, 01 Feb 2012The Malaysian owners of Lotus have taken the unusual step of quashing rumours circulating of an impending sale of its British sports car division. Several newspaper articles have suggested that the new owners of Proton may divest its loss-making Lotus subsidiary. The ownership structure of Proton has changed in recent weeks, after the Khazanah Nasional Berhad sold its entire stake in Proton to DRB-Hicom.
Bentley considers S-Tronic technology for upcoming V8 Continental
Wed, 13 Oct 2010Bentley is considering equipping its future V8-powered Continental GT variant with a dual-clutch transmission that sister-company Audi badges as S-Tronic. Bentley's engineers are doing engineering studies on the feasibility of packaging the S-Tronic into the Continental's transmission tunnel. The major challenge is re-engineering and producing the GT's underbody and running gear to accept the S-Tronic, which is a different shape than that of the six-speed ZF that the W12 GT will employ.
