Unique and hard to find Bendix Radio Compass Indicator from a military aircraft.

Strictly for display, the compass card does easily rotate when the knob on the front fascia is turned however the needles appear to be stuck in the same position and do not move.

This item certainly shows lots of wear from many military missions.  The casing is faded discolored, scratched, dented and overall very well worn, but still all completely intact.  The compass card appears to be a bit faded and the glass lens is a bit hazy or foggy.

This piece is heavy and substantial and was certainly built to survive many military missions.

Nonetheless, for the price a neat display and conversation piece as well!

The indicator is 6 1/2 inches long and has a front fascia of 3 1/4 inches.

Please feel free to ask any questions and good luck bidding!

All that needs to be written about the McLaren F1 already has been, but one thing we haven’t really covered in any detail before is the F1′s top speed record of 240.1mph, which stood as the world record top speed for a production car until the Bugatti Veyron stole that crown.

GM recall shows NHTSA failings too

Wed, 12 Mar 2014

Ever since General Motors recalled 1.6 million of its cars globally over a decade-old defect that could cut off engines and deactivate airbags in a crash, the automaker has been pointedly contrite. After all, its slow response may have cost some people their lives. So why have U.S.
