Aircraft carburetor,  applicable to the Bellanca, Stinson aircraft
with the  Franklin 6-A4-150-B3 aircraft engine. 

According to Facet Marvel Schebler Carburetor, this carburetor is 
applicable to the Franklin six cylinder aircraft engine 6-A4-150-B3.

Removed safety wire, separated halves, lightly cleaned and inspected for corrosion and any missing parts.
Unknown working condition but appears complete, see photos for a more detailed description.

This carburetor will require a complete cleaning/inspection and overhaul prior to "return to service".

There is no further history or total time that I can offer prior to my ownership.

This item has not been tested for accuracy or overhauled unless otherwise stated.

GM closes UK Advanced Design Studio

CDN has learnt that General Motors is closing its UK Advanced Design Studio as part of its ongoing restructuring program. Clay Dean, GM's executive director of advanced global design and Cadillac's brand director, arrived at the studio on 4 August to announce the closure to staff. The UK studio, which opened in 1999, was predominantly involved in the creation of Cadillac concept cars and was originally planned to be a short-term confidential operation as the smallest of GM's design studios.

U.S. auto sales continue to plunge in February

February sales for each of the top six U.S. automakers plunged more than 37 percent in February--the worst month since December 1981. "We are in an automotive depression amid 'The Great Recession,' " Standard and Poor's analyst Efraim Levy said in a report.

Mark Goodier gets the first Nissan LEAF delivered in the UK It’s taken a while, but Nissan has finally got the Nissan LEAF on the road in the UK, with the first two customers picking up their cars this morning. Nissan dealers Glyn Hopkin in Waltham Abbey had a pair of nice, shiny, black Nissan LEAFs all prepped and ready to go this morning to the first two UK customers – DJ Mark Goodier and electronics engineer Richard Todd. Mark Goodier – once a Radio 1 key player but now out to pasture at Smooth FM – was the first to drive off in his LEAF, subsequently commenting on Twitter that “…I had a great smooth drive into London today”.
