The Chevrolet Corvette's five-year reign as the pace car for the Indianapolis 500 has come to an end. The Indianapolis Motor Speedway said on Thursday that the pace car for this year's race will be the reborn Chevrolet Camaro. The pace Camaro is painted silver with red graphics.

MINI, the car maker more famous for its compact hatchbacks and growing range of family-orientated models, has surprised audiences at the traditional Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este design gathering with a new roadster concept. Called the Mini Superleggera Vision, its name is a nod to Touring Superleggera, the tradition-steeped design and coachbuilding house based in Milan. One in six drivers admits 'bump parking'

ALMOST one in six drivers admits to deliberately letting their car hit an adjacent one when trying to park. Known as ‘bump parking’, it means drivers simply carry on moving until they hit the car they’re heading towards. The figure rises to a shocking 26% – more than a quarter – among those living in London, with UK-wide drivers aged 18-34 recording the same statistic.
