| The RAPTOR lift pump by Pureflow Technologies. On Cummins diesels nothing kills the VP-44 injection pump faster than a lack of fuel flow. With the RAPTOR lift pump you'll never have to worry about that again! The RAPTOR is a custom manufactured 100 GPH or 150 GPH gerotor pump capable of pressures up to 50 psi and designed for tough applications. All RAPTOR pumps feature a built in user adjustable fuel pressure regulator with a range of 5 to 50 psi. Pressure adjustments are now as simple as a twist of the screw! As an added bonus the RAPTOR requires no "return to tank" line thanks to it's internal bypass design. Without a doubt, the RAPTOR offers the easiest installation on the market today. An excellent choice for trucks with moderate to extreme HP upgrades. Works equally well on stock vehicles. RAPTOR pumps offer a robust, high flow design in an easily installed package. The cosmetic makeover for the 2014 MY Meriva isn’t huge, but Vauxhall has thrown in a new grill and new headlights to fulfil the ‘new nose’ requirements of a facelift, there’s new alloys and new alloy options and daytime running lights. But the biggest change comes under the skin, with the old 1.7 litre turbo diesel being supplanted by the new 1.6 litre from the Zafira which offers 134bhp and 236lb/ft of torque.
Chris Bangle begins work with Changan Automobile on its design strategy and methodology
Mon, 31 Mar 2014Chris Bangle is to consult with Changan Automobile to help develop its design strategy and processes in his first official automotive project since leaving BMW in 2009. Bangle – through his company Chris Bangle Associates (CBA) – will work with Changan's team in its European design center in Turin, Italy, reporting to design director Chen Zheng. And while his role will be linked to the brand's Chinese products, his focus will be on the design team's methodologies and philosophy; its management and its process of critique, rather than the hands-on design of its products.
