Up for Auction is what I believe is a NEW / New in Box Vintage Airguide Small Boat Compass - made by Airguide in Chicago, IL, USA - Black Face - this Compass assembly is in really nice condition with the mounting bracket and wiring to light the compass for night use. Box is still nice for the age that this looks like, but it is shelf-worn. What you see is what you are buying. Picked this up at an estate sale - owner was a boat/motorcycle/car guy, this was in a box of parts I bought. Looks nice, looks vintage. Bubble looks like it is plastic, but might be glass - I don't know for sure. The Airguide box advertises that this gauge is a direct reading conical card with a jeweled movement. Alnico V magnet, red illumination for night use, internal compensating system and a "U" Bracket - which is removeable. This is a Black Faced Gauge Assembly with white lettering/numbers and a yellow line for direction. Please double-check on-line applications before purchase - No Refunds, No Returns. Bought recently to get a few parts I needed, the rest to sell on e-bay.

Working in collaboration with Shell Oils, the DRIVEN contest is an acronym for Design of Relevant and Innovative Vehicles for Energy Needs. Entrants are asked to create a car for one of five cities: Amsterdam, Bangalore, Basra, Houston or Sao Paulo.
