2014 Renault Megane Facelift: Price from £16,745 to £26,925

The facelifted Renault Megane (pictured) costs from £16,745 Renault has given the Megane a bit of a facelift for 2014, and the tweaked Megane debuted at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September. Now the new Megane has gone on sale in the UK – as a Hatchback, Coupe and Sport Tourer – with prices starting at £16,745 for the Expression+ 1.6 VVT 110 Hatch, rising to £26,925 for the Renaultsport 265 Coupe. The changes wrought by Renault for the Megane are relatively minor, with a new family nose (a lot like the new Clio), new lights, tweaked bonnet, new Renault badge and some very minor interior changes including the addition of Renault’s R-Link Media system as an option.

GM revealed the Chevrolet Volt MPV5 Concept at Beijing We’re all busy waiting for the Chevy Volt / Opel Ampera / Vauxhall Ampera to turn in to reality. Despite that, GM has today rolled out an MPV / Crossover  version of the Volt at Beijing – The Chevrolet Volt MPV5 Electric Concept. According to GM the Chevrolet Volt MPV5 is amongst the most aerodynamic of crossovers, thanks to its closed grill, lower air dam and a full underbody belly pan.

Nissan Juke-R: First customer car ready for delivery

The first Nissan Juke-R #001 – Nissan’s Juke with the heart of a GT-R – is ready for delivery to its owner. It will have cost at least £400k. Now the very first Nissan Juk-R is ready to roll out to its owner – who will have paid at least £400,000 for the privilege of owning a Juke with the running gear from a GT-R – and built by Motorsports outfit RML, with advice from Nissan Technical Centre Europe.
