Ford to crank up EcoBoost engine production
Thu, 26 Jan 2012Ford Motor Co. plans to offer EcoBoost engines in 11 vehicles in 2012, up from seven in 2011, and triple the production capacity of EcoBoost-equipped vehicles. Ford is betting big on its family of turbocharged EcoBoost engines to drive fuel economy gains without sacrificing performance.
Audi traffic light recognition technology to save you fuel
Wed, 12 Mar 2014Audi has announced its online traffic light recognition system is now market ready. The idea of this is to help drivers hit green lights instead of red lights, thus saving both time and fuel. Called Audi Online Traffic Light Information, the technology was demonstrated in January at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas and testing is also under way in Verona and Berlin.
MG and 'Rover' set to re-join forces

The deal is being backed by Chinese government, which wants to see more cars sold in export markets. Are we looking at the creation of a latter day MG Rover based in the Far East?
