College Exhibition: Umea Institute of Design Degree Show 2004

University Institute of Design presented their work in the annual Degree Show in June, which included work from the Masters programmes in Transportation Design, Advanced Product Design, and Interaction Design along with the final thesis projects from the Bachelor level graduates. Baby Rolls-Royce named as Ghost

The announcement was made by Rolls CEO Tom Purves at a press conference held at the Shanghai motor show this morning, and he also teased at other future models that will bear the Ghost name. RR4 was just the codename for the ‘baby’ Rolls, as it was the fourth model in the new-generation of cars under BMW ownership (after the Phantom, Phantom DHC and Phantom Coupe).
Volkswagen UK’s dealer showrooms get a revamp

Are car showrooms a relic of the past or the perfect way, still, to showcase the offerings from a car maker? Volkswagen are taking no chances on the future and have already rolled out their ‘Digital Showrooms’ across the dealer network where staff get iPads and advanced web tools to try and bring the on-line and off-line worlds in to a workable intersection, and offer customers virtual product that wouldn’t otherwise be available on show.
