This original AJS/Matchless workshop instruction manual of 109 pages covering engine, transmission, carburation, electrical, frame, wheels, front fork. Also contains detail info on lubrication and maintenance. Lists extensive info on engine specifications and carburation specs. and wiring diagrams. Covers models 250,350,500,600 and 650. It is complete and in very good condition. It has a small tear on bottom left corner. It may not be visable in the photo. I have owned this since the 1960's when I had a Matchless 500 single.

Wulin Gaowa on GM’s new Chinese Advanced Design Studio
Wed, 28 Dec 2011Following on from our story in September about Wulin Gaowa's appointment to GM Design as Director of its China Advanced Design, the company has released more details about the new studio and an interview with the designer. The company's "future hub for automotive design in Asia" will move into its new home in July 2012. The studio will be located at GM's GMIO and GM China Headquarters in Shanghai.

Fri, 14 Feb 2014Built by Michelotti in Turin and unveiled at the 1972 Paris motor show, the BMW Turbo was built both as a symbol of the carmaker's strength after its troubles in the ‘60s and as a celebration of that summer's Olympic Games in Munich. This two-door coupe, based on a modified 2002 chassis with a mid-mounted engine, was born when BMW's design director Paul Bracq convinced the board to let him design a concept that would be part design exercise, part technology testbed. Safety had become an increasingly important consideration following a number of design summits in the early ‘70s, and Bracq used the Turbo to test out a number of safety solutions.

Wed, 03 Feb 2010Tesla has launched a RHD version of the Tesla Roadster A right hand drive Tesla Roadster is something that should help Tesla shift more cars in the UK – and other RHD markets as well – so it’s welcome news that Tesla has announced you can now order up your Roadster in RHD for £86,950. Tesla has titivated the Roadster a bit for the RHD launch, adding a new sound system and some extra soundproofing. It also looks as if – judging from the picture they sent us – that they thought a picture of the RHD Tesla taken in the rain would make UK buyers feel at home.
