Honda S660 sports car concept (2013) first official pictures
Wed, 23 Oct 2013By Ollie Kew First Official Pictures 23 October 2013 12:00 This is the Honda S660, a 21st Century adaptation of the brand’s S600 sports car, first seen in the 1960s. The tiny two-seater roadster will be shown off at the Tokyo motor show in November 2013, but before you get too excited about a Honda roadster revival, we’ve got bad news. Even if the S660 did get green-lighted for series production, Honda UK has confirmed to CAR the S660 ‘is not destined for Britain.’ Looking very similar to 2011’s electric EV-STER concept, the S660 swaps batteries for internal combustion power, and ushers in an interior not pinched from the set of Star Trek, indicating a step closer to showroom-ready condition.

Despite all 911s looking much the same to all but the Porsche nutter, there’s a choice of at least a hundred different models (well, it feels like it when you try to decide), from the pure 911 Carrera 2 on up to the Turbo Cab and all the bonkers ‘Track’ 911s – the GT this and the RS that. And now, just to confuse things even more – and to extract a few more sales before the 997 version of the 911 joins the list of 911s that once were – we get the Porsche 911 Carrera 4 GTS.
Mercedes CLA snapped undisguised
Thu, 13 Sep 2012The Mercedes CLA – a baby CLS based on the new A Class – has been snapped undisguised in Iceland ahead of a 2013 reveal. The fact that Mercedes are building a four-door, swoopy coupe based on the new A Class is no secret. In fact, Mercedes rolled out the Concept Style Coupe at the Beijing Motor Show earlier this year as a very clear pointer of what to expect.
