Akrapovic EVO2 Full Ti System that no longer has the carbon HEX Canister.
This is off my 2005 GSXR-1000, and fits the 2006 as well. Cost me $1400 when new.
I absolutely loved this Akro exhaust system and it's seen a lot of track use over the years. I tried to capture the visible dings and scrapes in the photos. The larger gouge is from the lower shock connecting bolt that obviously had an interference fit under full travel.
It comes with everything you see in the pics...no connecting springs because I had to use them for the used exhaust I bought off eBay to replace this one.
The super nice carbon Hex canister was damaged in a crash and it was too costly to repair/replace...so this top of the line Akrapovic Ti exhaust is up for sale. I purchased an inferior Yosh system to avoid sinking more money into my 30k track mile gsxr workhorse :)
Please let me know if I can provide any additional information or pics.
Thanks for looking!

Chevrolet has shown its new Camaro Convertible ahead of the Los Angeles auto show tomorrow. No great shakes: it takes the stylish coupe and chops the top. There's a 308bhp V6 or the 420bhp V8, and prices kick off around $30,000.

Porsche Cayman Shooting Brake Fake +video

Thu, 13 Aug 2009

The fake Porsche Cayman Shooting Brake - rendered in Maya Turns out that it was all a bit of viral fun created by Jared Holstein, the outgoing editor of TopGear.com. He came up with the idea and got a bunch of Summer Interns in the States to do the donkey work. A digital design student called Matt DuVall used Maya (a digital 3D rendering programme) to create the original image (actually, I’ve been trying to master Maya for ever – must get some tips from Matt!) which incorporated lots of Porsche design themes, and even used a Porsche ‘Mule’ license plate.

Motortrend examines making of Kia’s Track’ster concept

Fri, 10 Feb 2012

Motortrend has included a comprehensive step-by-step guide exploring the process through which Kia built its Track'ster concept car in its April edition. The study, complete with a detailed photo timeline, tracks the progress of the concept vehicle from the original idea right the way through to the car's unveiling at the Chicago Auto Show. The Track'ster was originally pitched as a turbo four-cylinder all-wheel-drive sports car and is based on the production version of the Kia Soul, which was the company's second-best-selling vehicle of 2011.
