This auction is for a group of parts for dragster spoked front wheels. These are NOT a matching pair of wheels. One rim is a NOS Akront 17" NON-Shouldered 40 spoke rim, the other is a used 17" Shouldered 36 spoke rim. The auction includes one each 36 and 40 spoke hubs, and used spokes and nipples to assemble two complete wheels. These are all parts I collected over the past 10 years while searching for parts to restore vintage dragsters. The used rim has a couple flat spots, but nothing terible. The NOS rim is perfect and still mostly wrapped in plastic. the total shipping weight will be about 15 lbs. Shipping cost to be paid by buyer and will be determined at the end of the auction! Hiromu Naruse was considers by most whose opinion matters to be the ‘Godfather’ of the Japanese performance car’, and devoted most of the last decade of his life to honing and developing the LFA. He lost his life in an LFA Nurburgring Edition in the Summer of 2010 whilst testing the car near the Nurburgring itself, and it’s nice to think that if he’d still been with us, despite his age, it could well have been Naruse-san at the wheel.
