Thanks for your interest in Seat Armour!

Here are the specifics about the product. It's made to be a universal fit. It uses the headrest as the only anchor point to keep the product in place. We do this so that there are no straps or elastic that can interfere with airbag deployment. Newer cars have airbag points all around the car seats, this product is designed not to hinder their deployment.

The dimensions are 60H X 29W with a slight reduction in the middle, 27.5W, to account for the seatbelt anchor. This design allows the product to cover the seat and still have 1 to 3 inches of hang down contingent on the make of your vehicle's seats.

The product is a 100% cotton terry/velour blend. This keeps the velour side smooth and cool to the touch, while allowing the terry side to grip the seat. This makes it extremely durable to wear and tear. It also allows it to be machine washable.

Washing instructions: Machine wash warm water, gentle cycle. Fabric softner is okay to use. Tumble dry low heat or air dry.

Also, you should keep in mind that this product is not meant to be a full time/permenant seat cover. It is a helpful tool to people who are active and on the go. We use it for car shows, if we go to the beach or park, or if we take the pets for a ride. Throw it on, keeps the seat clean, take it off, shake the dirt/sand off and throw it in the trunk.  When it starts to get smelly and yucky, we throw it in the washing machine and it's like new!

Volvo S60 saloon (2010) unveiled

Tue, 10 Nov 2009

This is the new Volvo S60, and it’s the latest attempt by the Swedish safety-mongers to snatch a share of the small executive saloon market that’s dominated by the 3-series, A4 and C-class. Volvo has only released two exterior photos of the new S60 – we’ll see the interior closer to the car’s Geneva motor show unveil in March 2010 – as it wants to highlight the new car’s design. Under now-departed design chief Steve Mattin, the S60 has been created as the car that will start the differentiation of Volvo design and break the one-size-fits-all focus.

Volcanic Ash – bad for your car’s paintwork

Wed, 21 Apr 2010

Volcanic ash on the back of our test Range Rover Sport Who says we don’t do consumer advice at Cars UK? We know that the Government claims every jet will fall out of the sky if they fly with even a cup full of volcanic ash in the atmosphere. The argument goes that all that dust and stone and rubbish will get sucked in to the engines, melt and then solidify to trash the engine.
