This (Model A-0) Alado Nautica roller furling system is designed for a head sail with a maximum luff measurement of 30 feet.

For over 20 years Alado Nautica's all aluminum foil roller furling systems have been manufactured to handle the toughest requirements of OFFSHORE SAILING. This is NOT an inexpensive PVC plastic foil type system designed for only lake or coastal sailing. This system is designed and manufactured to meet the toughest demands of Rugged Ocean Sailing! WE GUARANTY IT!

Our open drum design provides for easy access to furling line.

There are no swivels under tension to jam or fail.

This system comes with 30 feet of specially designed dual interlocking 5' section aluminum alloy foils forming a true aerodynamic profile for optimum torsion strength and low wind resistance.

Design exclusive polypropylene bushings provide ease of operation and protection from forestay galvanic corrosion.

Self-containing double halyard sheaves allow for fast sail changing and downwind sailing with twin genoas.

Designed to furl or reef up to two headsails.
Easy one person installation, (no special tools, no cutting or swaging required or need to go aloft).

Existing headsails can be used by installing a # 6 luff tape.

Volkswagen has just announced that Walter de'Silva, 55, has been appointed Head of Volkswagen Group Design. Since March 2002, de'Silva has been Head of Design at the now discontinued Audi brand group. There, in addition to supervising the Audi brand design, he was also in charge of Seat and Lamborghini.

Subaru appoints sales specialist as its new global president

The maker of Subaru-brand cars has tapped a marketing and sales specialist to be the company's new president and lead global automotive operations in the post-quake era. Yasuyuki Yoshinaga, 57, is currently an executive vice president at Subaru's parent company, Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd. He takes the title of president and COO, pending approval at the company's annual shareholders' meeting on June 24, Fuji Heavy said May 10.
