Why the Subaru WRX STi is making a UK comeback
Wed, 15 Jan 2014After a short hiatus, the Subaru WRX STi (once known as the Impreza) is coming back to the UK. The re-introduction was confirmed at the new car’s unveiling at the 2014 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit – and it’s great news for us Brits. When the Subaru WRX STi goes on sale in the UK later this year it will cost £28,995 – that’s a whopping £4,000 less than its predecessor.

The small panel van moves Mercedes-Benz into a hotly contested section of the market, against established rivals such as the Volkswagen Caddy and Ford Transit Connect. The Citan will be available in a variety of body configurations from the two-seat version shown in the sketches to a crewbus, as well as a variety of options of both length and weight.
Hongik University's transportation design process
Mon, 22 Jun 2009Hongik University in Seoul, Korea, is one of the preeminent design schools in the country with a diverse range of programs. But the school's transportation design department has also developed a unique approach for concept ideation. At the International Transportation Design Forum in Pforzheim, Germany, Professor Joo Hyun Chung from the school's Transportation Design course gave Car Design News an exclusive insight into the process, explaining how students express their ideas into 3D surfaces directly, using materials such as paper and wire for the first exploration of the form rather than the traditional 2D to 3D process.
