Alfa Romeo 2600 Steering Box

I carefully removed this steering box from an Alfa 2600 Sprint.  In removing it, I did not damage the U-Joint bearings and nothing fell out.  It is dirty and before removing it from the car I verified that turning the steering wheel caused the wheels to turn appropriately.  There is nothing else I am able to do to evaluate the steering box further.   The mounting bolts are included, as are the bolts that connect the U-joint bearings to the fitting on the end of the steering column.

All information provided here is provided to the best of my ability, although I make no guarantees about the applicability of these parts to any car.  Buyer to verify the suitability of these parts for their application.

Fri, 31 Aug 2007

By Ben Pulman First Official Pictures 31 August 2007 12:08 About time the C-class Estate turned up… It is, and while the new C-class saloon has only been around for six months, it’s so good that the old outgoing estate that's been soldiering on has suddenly been left feeling very long in the tooth. Merc has responded - and today presents the new estate. It’ll be shown in the metal at September’s Frankfurt Motor Show and then go on sale in the UK in summer 2008.
