For sale, Alfa Romeo 3 liter piston and liner set. Pistons skirts are in very good condition, cylinder liners still have good cross hatching in them, there is no ridge on the tops of the liners. These came out of a very well maintained 1993 164L with 53,000 miles on it, the car is being parted out because of a collision. With new piston rings these would be a very good alternative to buying a new set which is very expensive (over $1700) |

Fri, 16 Sep 2011While competing in the 2011 Targa Newfoundland Rally, driver Zahir Rana crashed his highly customized Ferrari Enzo into the Atlantic Ocean. Both Rana and his navigator, Roland Linder, were unharmed in the incident, and the vehicle appears to be in good cosmetic shape despite its submerged state. With an infinitely better attitude than most, Rana and Linder expressed their perspective on competitive risks and their outlooks on returning to racing.
MP claims 3p for 100 metre car trip
Mon, 07 Oct 2013FORMER DEFENCE secretary Liam Fox successfully claimed 3p of taxpayers' cash for a car journey of fewer than 100 metres, expenses documents show. The Conservative MP made the claim after travelling 0.06 miles, or approximately 96.5 metres, within his North Somerset constituency from a concrete firm to a constituency surgery in Yatton in October 2012. The Independent Parliamentary Standards Authority (Ipsa) notes the claim was paid last December.
