Car insurance price fall is 'last hurrah'

THE PRICE of car insurance premiums is plunging, according to the AA. Average premiums fell 19.3% in the year ending June 30 2014 - the largest 12-month decrease since the AA index started 20 years ago. But the AA warned this could be the "last hurrah" for cheaper premiums and said the number of claims remained "stubbornly high" despite Government reforms to curb fraudulent injury claims.

SPECIALIST young driver insurer Marmalade is throwing its weight behind safety charity Brake’s 2014 ‘2young2die’ campaign. Brake, the national road safety charity, launches its 2014 workshops and awards scheme this week, and announces Marmalade as its funding partner. Porsche boss, Matthias Mueller, has confirmed that Porsche are planning to extend the Panamera offerings with a coupe and probably a production version of the very convincing  Panamera Sport Turismo Concept we saw at Geneva in the spring, although nothing has been signed off yet. The most likely time for the Panamera Coupe and Shooting Brake to arrive is after Porsche refresh the Panamera next year, so we should expect a ‘new 928′ to arrive some time in 2014.
