Offered for bid is an ALFA ROMEO left side rear bumper blade with mounting brackets. Polished stainless steel, bumper is used, OEM, sacrificed from a 1967 Duetto and is compatible with 1966/67 model years, probably 1968/69 as well. Excellent used condition with no dents, dings or rust, only some minor surface scratches barely visible in the photographs. Very clean, with a professional buffing probably as close to new as a used one can be. As shown in the photos there are remnants of a parking sticker which could probably be removed with a solvent but most likely  best by buffing. Buyer responsible for any taxes or duties. Payment due within 3 days of auction close. Will combine shipping with right side bumper if purchased. No returns, item is as described.

Record breaking Bluebird reunited with nose

WORLD LAND SPEED RECORD holder Sir Malcolm Campbell’s Bluebird CN7 car has been reunited with its original nose. The car’s original nose was damaged and then kept in Coventry since 1960, but it has now been brought back to the car that lives at the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu, Hampshire. Damaged during a World Land Speed Record attempt on the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah, USA, the nose of the car was sent back to Coventry for repairs and an updated design to help make the car more stable at very high speeds.

GM expands recall for deadly ignition issue

GM is expanding its ignition recall from earlier this month to include 2003-2007 model year Saturn Ions, 2006-2007 Chevy HHRs and 2006-2007 Pontiac Solstice and Saturn Sky models. The total number of cars affected in the U.S. has reached 1,367,146.
