Up for bid is an original Rear Hatch (Tailgate, Lifegate) with Window for an Alfa Romeo GTV 6 (GTV6).

This hatch is in good useable condition. It has no discernable rust, the window is  intact and not cracked, the rear defroster was working when the hatch was removed from the car. It does has the latch but the lock does not have a key.

Cosmetically the paint is all intact but has faded, you'll probably wish to repaint it before use. 

This Rear hatch is physically in immediately useable condition.

Although this Hatch was removed rom a GTV 6, It will also fit a Alfetta.

Giugiaro honored in Korean ceremony

Giorgetto Giugiaro has received honors from the South Korean Government for his contribution to the nation's fledgling automotive industry.  In a ceremony in Seoul, Giugiaro received the prestigious 'Order of Merit' from the President of the Republic of Korea, Lee Myung-bak. The relationship between Italdesign Giugiaro and Korea stretches back to the 1970s, a period of significant growth for the Korean nation, stifled only by its lackluster automotive industry.  It fell to the Italian designer to invigorate an industry that survived on reassembling and rebranding foreign domestic models. Giugiaro's solution was the simple Hyundai Pony.

The tough post-war financial situation led the Italian brand to focus its investments towards more profitable projects such as the 1900 Berlina. The competition department stayed open on the condition of delivering a brand-boosting racecar for participation in the 1952 Le Mans and Mille Miglia races.
