Up for your consideration is this 1987-89 Alfa Romeo Milano or 75 Command Center Flasher Control Panel Sender/Signaler. Very good, used original condition - taken from a lightly wrecked vehicle. This is a very hard-to-find original piece. It is the standard Milano matte-black in color and has no flaws as the previous owner was quite meticulous in his care of the vehicle. This piece is in very useable and presentable condition. Standard Milano satin-black finish. Rachet mechanism in perfect working order. Mounts up above the tray in front of the passenger side. Complete, and includes original wire stubs for ease of identification and reconnecting.

Breakeryard designs 'Woman-Proof' car

Breakeryard, the UK's network of national breakers, has designed a garish pink ‘Woman-Proof' concept car with the aim of making parking easier for ‘non-confident' female drivers. In an exercise with its tongue firmly in its cheek Breakeryard has not only designed, but also commissioned some mock-ups of a car to combat problems highlighted in a survey of 1,421 female drivers. ‘Peripheral visibility' was identified as a problem by 44 percent of respondents, so the concept has a bubble-top design to combat this, which would be framed by a reinforced structure for safety purposes.

Volvo tests flywheel technology to cut fuel use

Volvo is testing flywheel technology--being used in Formula One racing to give cars an extra boost--as a technology that could help cut fuel use in future cars by as much as 20 percent. Flywheels recapture energy normally lost as heat during braking. That energy can then be used to help propel the car.
