Up for bid...............Alfa Romeo T-10 Van Speedometer. This is a NOS, OE Veglia speedometer. It has been sitting in a box, face down, as a result, a small amount of dust has settled through the bulb sockets.

These were used from 1954' thru 1966'. The case, glass, and bezel will interchange with Veglia gauges of the period. It will be necessary to have the inner workings re-calibrated.

Audi TT speedster 'will be built'

The company is planning to make between 50-100 of the chop-top TT especially for the Middle East market. Although spokesmen in Europe have denied any production plans for the unusual open-top TT we spied on test in southern Germany, Audi's marketing director for the Middle East, Bernd Rosenbichler, told us they were planning a small production run for enthusiasts in hotter climes.'We have been asked [by Audi AG] if we could imagine bringing this car here,' he told CAR.

Opel product chief Weber quits to take job with yet-unnamed rival

Frank Weber, the German-born engineer who helped lead development of the Chevrolet Volt and Opel Ampera hybrids, is leaving General Motors' Opel unit to work for an as-yet unnamed competitor. Weber has been Opel's product chief since November 2009. His departure was reported Thursday by Automotive News Europe and confirmed by company sources.
