Chevrolet Camaro muscle car is go!

Sun, 13 Aug 2006

By Phil McNamara Motor Industry 13 August 2006 07:00 The Chevrolet Camaro – GM's centrepiece at the 2006 Detroit auto show – has received the green light for production. The V8 coupe will be unveiled in late 2008, with sales confirmed for early 2009. 'The new Camaro will be almost identical to the concept, a thoroughly modern interpretation of the 1969 model,' said GM design boss Ed Welburn.

Infiniti EX35

Fri, 24 Aug 2007

The EX35 is a slightly smaller and more mainstream SUV than its FX bigger brother from which it takes its core 'coupe SUV' theme.  Despite the coupe design references, the vehicle is similar proportionally to the Lexus RX300 and BMW X3 which it will compete with in the US - and also in Europe when the Infiniti brand debuts next year.  Little different to the Infiniti EX concept shown in New York, the EX35 uses the core Infiniti graphic design signatures and soft form language but introduces a new flowing side feature line not seen on the Infiniti G37 Coupe launched a few months ago. Interesting technical innovations include the 'Around View Monitor' that uses four cameras to give a 'top-down view' of the outside of the car, and 'Scratch Shield' - a new self-healing clearcoat paint. Jaguar XFR-S: The Video

Thu, 29 Nov 2012

With the Jaguar XFR-S now on the show floor in Los Angeles, we have the first video of Jaguar’s quickest saloon car. Pretty (although quite un-Jaguar like) though the XFR-S is to look at, nothing gives you a feel for a car – apart from driving it – quite as well as a decent video with great sounds. And that’s exactly what Jaguar has on offer with their launch video for the XFR-S.
