wolverhampton, West Midlands, United Kingdom
Condition:New other (see details) Input Voltage:12V Output Voltage:24V

This is an unused inverter, converts 12v to 24V still boxed with connectors.

I have a number of these, all same condition. I checked the voltages, they all are at about 27.5V, which is adequate to charge two 12v batts in series (not big ones though).

Also good for low power devices, its rated at 3A max, which made this quite warm when run continuously into a test load.

At 2A or less, it didn't get warm unless you cover it with stuff (which may happen in a car.).

Warranted against failure for a month. Return postage paid buy buyer.

Elsewhere on the web, these are quite expensive.

UK mainland postage quoted. If abroad, please request quote.

Cheques, Postal orders accepted under duress, but send SIGNED-FOR service only. No Cash.

Up to 3 working days despatch time from cleared payment, happy to combine multiple items, but this may extend the despatch time.

Children more distracting than cell phones, study finds

Tue, 16 Apr 2013

Parents of small children will not be surprised by findings released recently by Australian researchers stating children pose a greater distraction to drivers than talking on cell phones -- a 12 percent greater distraction, to be exact. With all the screaming and crying infants bring to the commute and the fighting and other factors older siblings contribute, we wonder why nobody has pointed a finger at our precious angels sooner. Perhaps because there is little we can do to control when or where our kids decide to dissolve into fits of rage or sorrow.

Renault Scenic XMOD

Tue, 05 Feb 2013

In a move that marks the huge shift in interest from MPVs and minivans to SUVs, the definitive ‘mini-MPV' Renault Scenic has been rehashed and reborn as a pseudo off-roader. The addition of unpainted bumpers and lower body cladding, along with some metallic-effect details is a clear attempt to stem the flood of buyers choosing cars such as the Nissan Qashquai. It may be little more than an Allroad-style makeover rather than a new format but it speaks volumes in terms of how the family car market has shifted and not only in Europe.

McLaren London: Open for business

Wed, 22 Jun 2011

McLaren London - open for business Almost exactly a year on from McLaren’s announcement that the UK will have three McLaren dealers – London, Birmingham and Manchester – the first of those dealers, McLaren London, opened for business yesterday. Operated by Jardine Motors (who may be more familiar as Lancaster), Mclaren London is the ground floor face of One Hyde Park, the mega-bucks apartment block you may best know as the building where £1 billion of apartments have been sold – but no one has moved in. Ron Dennis is probably banking on some of the owners of those apartments – including a Ukrainian Oligarch said to have paid £136 million for his apartment – popping downstairs to take a look at what McLaren has on offer – and bringing along a friend or three.
