Returns Accepted:ReturnsNotAccepted Warranty:No

For Sale: One used TDI ALH crankshaft.  I purchased this crankshaft about a year ago with the idea of turning my MK4 vw engine into a stroker build, but it is not going to happen.

The crankshaft was lightened by the seller I bought it from, as is evident in the pictures.  As with all crankshafts, especially used ones, they should be balanced by a machine shop and inspected fully.   The journals are within spec and are in good condition.

All sales are final.  The crankshaft is sold as is.

The crank will be shipped within 3 days of receiving payment, at which time tracking information will be provided.

If you have any questions, please send me an email.  Thanks.

Jaguar XF 2.2 Diesel averages 62.9mpg on 2,884 mile U.S Road Trip

Tue, 15 Nov 2011

The Jaguar XF 2.2 Diesel completes its US Road Trip Last week we reported that Jaguar were taking an XF 2.2 Diesel to the US to drive from New York to Los Angeles to show just how economical the new, smaller engined diesel can be when driven on long, open roads. It was the U.S version of the economy run from Jaguar to Munich earlier this year, when economy-run specialists David and Alexander Madgwick managed to squeeze 57mpg out of the parsimonious XF. Which made us wonder if there was more to this run across the States than just another bash at shining the new XF’s eco-halo.

BMW M5 Diesel Confirmed – the BMW M550d, perhaps?

Thu, 18 Aug 2011

A diesel M5 - the BMW M550d, perhaps? We’ve been reporting on BMW’s triple-turbo diesel engine since we broke the news back in 2009 that BMW could be working on a triple turbo option for their 3.0 litre diesel, designed to create an ‘M Diesel’. And it now looks as though that will arrive as the BMW M550d – or a variation on that name – as soon as 2012.
