These ball joints are a low friction design, which provides smooth feeling of steering control and also results in longer durability. The socket is a highly finished steel ball surface surrounded by a engineered socket bearing with a quality lubricant to reduce the internal friction. The stud is casehardened for durability and finally capped with a crack-resistant dust boot. That is why these ball joints are guaranteed five years!!
