Great mileage? King Midget did that 50 years ago
Tue, 13 Jul 2010WITH VIDEO -- As the world grapples with ever-decreasing stocks of inexpensive oil and ever-increasing traffic, the diminutive King Midget two-seater--made in the thousands from 1946 to 1970--starts to look pretty good. 2013 Bentley Mulsanne get even more sybaritic
Wed, 23 Jan 2013The 2013 Bentley Mulsanne (2014 MY) comes complete with added luxury and new technology and debuts at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. With the Mulsanne being Bentley’s flagship model, and pretender to the luxury crown held by its former sibling, Bentley are working hard to make the 2013 Mulsanne (2014 in the US) an even more luxurious and relevant choice for the modern plutocrat, with a range of additional luxury appointments and options and some new technology. We can’t really call the 2013 Mulsanne a facelift, because you’d have to look really hard to see any exterior changes (unless they have one of the new Mulsanne paint jobs - Dark Cashmere, Portofino and Damson) but there are tweaks and optional extra goodies on the inside.
Wheel maker connects with exotic clientele via social media
Mon, 16 May 2011Reaching potential buyers of custom wheels for exotic cars takes more than buying ads in magazines. Miami-based ADV.1 Wheels is building a business fueled by a social-media approach that includes car-forum interaction, photo shoots and short films on the Internet. The company launched a Facebook fan page in late March, has received more than 59,000 “likes” and aims for 100,000--at which point ADV.1 Wheels has promised to give away a set of the company’s Trakfunction wheels.
