Allstar Performance ALL54212 Throttle Cable Bracket Silver 4150/Edelbrock Kit

Adjustable Throttle Bracket, Silver, 4150/Edelbrock, GM Cable Nitrous Mount

Part # ALL54212

Kit includes an all in one billet aluminum nitrous/fuel throttle bracket to hold throttle cable in place and an additional bracket for mounting a nitrous/fuel solenoid. Both brackets fasten to carb mounting studs, the throttle bracket includes dual stainless steel return springs which are adjustable for tension. Specially designed return spring arm attaches to the carb for simple installation and smooth operation. Low profile design clears most air cleaner assemblies. Optional transmission kickdown brackets mount to the underside of throttle cable brackets. Note: Longer carburetor studs will be required to accomodate bracket.

News reports say two plug-in electric cars--a 2011 Chevrolet Volt and a home-converted Suzuki Samurai--were destroyed in a garage fire in Barkhamsted, Conn., on April 14. The destroyed Volt had just 2,000 miles on the odometer. The owner said he converted the Samurai to electric power a few years ago.

The redesigned 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra pickups go on sale this spring with V8 engines that General Motors claims will get slightly better fuel economy than the rival Ford F-150 equipped with a turbocharged V6. Chevrolet is holding the base sticker price on the 2014 Silverados to the same as that of the 2013 models. This means a rear-drive 2014 Silverado with the base V6 engine will sticker at $24,585, although that model won't be in dealerships until this summer.
