2011 Infiniti M gets price increase

Infiniti has increased the sticker prices of the 2011 Infiniti M sedan. The price increase, effective immediately, is $250 for M37 models and $350 for M56 models. Revised sticker prices are $47,375 for the Infiniti M37, $49,525 for the Infiniti M37x AWD, $58,775 for the Infiniti M56, and $61,275 for the Infiniti M65x AWD.

Lotus appoints Mansory to customise their cars Lotus has teamed up with car customiser Mansory to create custom versions of its Exige, Elise and Evora. Car makers in the upper echelons have customers who want to make their car more individual than a regular options list can manage. So they either have their own in-house bespoke service – like Ferrari’s Tailor Made – or they appoint an official customiser.

Outstanding achievement in automotive design was recognized at the fifth annual EyesOn Design Awards held at the 2010 NAIAS in Detroit in January. Top honors were awarded to the GMC Granite urban utility vehicle in the Best Concept Vehicle category, and the Audi A8 luxury sedan for Best Production Vehicle. Frank Saucedo, Director of GM Design's California studio, and Clay Dean, Executive Director GM Advanced Global Design, accepted the award for the GMC Granite Concept and acknowledged the importance of recognition from their design peers.
